The 70 Tonner series was built between January of 1946 and December of 1958, weighs 139,000 lbs and uses two 4-cycle model FDL-6T diesel prime movers that develop 660 hp, and 41,300 lb of tractive effort, and carries 500 gallons of fuel. My thanks to The Diesel Shop for the information.
The Belfast and Moosehead Lake Railroad had four of these little engines, and they were solid performers.
